I have never seen the new film, nor the old miniseries. Have not read the book. I watched RedLetterMedia’s review and they basically said the same thing as John Connor. Clown just keeps popping up and snarling, but keeps letting them get away and usually doesn’t do anything to the kids.

Perhaps the most offensive part of the upcoming Schindler's List: The Musical is that, because most of the rest of the cast was having trouble focusing while trying to act in a g-damn Holocaust musical, they sent them all pre-shoot to Concentration Camp.

PLEASE forgive me. If Jules hadn't whiffed on my saying Julie Andrews was starring in a happier Schindler re-make, not to mention simultaneously starring in a lighter, more joyous re-make of The Killing Fields, I wouldn't have been driven to double and triple down here.

And, yes, I know I'm going straight to hell. Mere tazing is too good for me.

The movie had excellent acting but overall it seemed to fall a bit short. I feel like if you're a huge fan of the book, you'll probably go in with high expectations and be at least somewhat disappointed, whereas if you've never read the book you'll come out thinking it was a really good horror movie. Stephen King can sure come up with some incredible tales, but faithfully adapting them to film takes a lot of talent. Besides the terrible CGI, the opening scene was incredible, but it kind of flattened out from there besides a few other moments.

And Richie's jokes were absolutely hilarious.

Read the book when IT came out 1986, this movie is a big disappointment to me. Surely the producers couldn't adapt everything from the book.
