A young cat is trying to adopt me as its new owner, what should I do?

They absolutely do not, in my experience.

However, a single zyrtec every day is more than enough to make it unnoticeable for me.

My mom and I used to be extremely allergic to cats but got over it within a few months.

When I took my cat home my eyes started to tear up like crazy and I couldn't stop sneezing. It was like this for a few months and I took alleve but after a while I no longer had any type of allergic reaction to the cat and no longer had to take allergy medicine.

My mom used to be crazy allergic as well but after having a cat for a while she was no longer allergic either. I also think longer hair cats shed less cat dander so probably less allergic reaction. The cat that I was crazy allergic to at first was a short hair.

if your not going to give it any food at least give it some water. It can prob survive a week or so without food but will die within a few days without water and will probably resort to drinking something contaminated.

hell, just give it a small place to live, some food and water... it will know how to survive if its good...

I had a stray cat who was friendly.

It would climb my screen door to face level and sit there until I'd come out and give it attention.

When I'd pull the car into the drive way, the cat would leap on the hood of the moving car, put her paws on the windshield staring at me and leap to my chest when I got out.

come on man at least feed it and give it some water, even if you dont want it then find it a shelter or a home. If you happen to be in BC ill take it.

We actually found our cat in a very similar way. GF and I walked down to the corner store one evening, and this cat started following us around, he even waited outside the store for us. When we got back home he sat outside the window crying, so we finally let him in. We put up some ads to see if he belonged to anyone, but nobody claimed him.

I also had terrible cat allergies. The first couple of months having him in the apartment was hell. I even started getting nose bleeds because of the constant sinus pressure, but eventually I got used to him and now I don't have any issues at all.

I think the allergen issue is different for each person. Personally I'm mildly allergic to my dog and every time I used to come home from school I'd be miserable, but after an extended period around her again, I don't have any of the symptoms.

Ok, I feed the cat last night and left it a bowl of water.

It was sleeping on my porch chair when I went to bed, but was gone this morning. Will see if it comes back.

BTW getting water to drink won't be a problem for the cat. Everyone waters their lawn so there is always water some where for it to drink.
