As I have said earlier in my previous posts, I dont play FPS much and dont need any fancy bling bling stuff like macro binding or LED backlite.

What this keyboard does look impressive (on paper) is their claim for fast response. So does anyone have any experience with these things? If it has decent rollover characteristics (at least 5+ actual) I am sold

even the fast response? if it works as good as advertised then I say it beats all those gaming keyboard wannabes (hopefully so)

It's a freaking keyboard, WTF are you doing to yours that you would even NOTICE the difference?

I play fighting games and have to press a lot of keys together, and often while at it.
thanks for showing some enthusiasm there

and for your record YES I DO NOTICE THE NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CHEAP ENTRY LEVEL LOGITECH AND A DECENT DELL OEM I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST. THANKS FOR ASSUMING EVERYONE ONLY PLAYS FPS AND NOTHING ELSE.

well Razer claims 1000Hz/1ms response and up to 10 simultaneous key presses on their Tarantula, but when we consider a4tech's target price niche, this keyboard should be a fraction of a price

I destroy too many keyboards a year from use and spills to spend more than $20 on a keyboard. "Water proof" isn't a word you want to put onto the box for me to test.

I remember when all the CompUSA stores that were closing were offering it for $60 when it was going for $100...now its down to $80 or so regularly, still pretty steep.

if you actually go to the webpage you can see them actually fully submerge it in water...

although I make a point not to eat and drink around my gaming rig, I've got plenty of old and relatively junkie keyboards for that...

Not for nothing, but I have been using that light brown one for about 7.99. usually buy to of them at a 2 time if one sale. Keyboards are something I go threw in about 3 months. But, if breaking keyboards was something that I know I was not prone to do, i would go with just abotu any backlit keyboard. Yea, those gaming keyboards look cool, but, I know that my coffee will be in the keys very soon, even if its water proof, it still get sticky.

yeah, I am not so thrilled by the waterproof part either, it would get messy either way. I just need a cheap and responsive keyboard that will let me execute complicated moves without skipping. Playing (or attempt to do so) Touhou IMP on this laptop keyboard is a royal pain in the butthole - cant even do basic moves let alone combos.

I was tempted to grab a no frills MS keyboard they had on sale for $15 at fry's but managed to resist the urge.
