1.)What motherboard do you use and does it have agp/pci lock?
2.)What was your top overclock?
3.)What is your highest stable overclock for games, strenuous tasks, etc?
4.)Please include any motherboard/bios tweaks you used.
5.)What video card, memory, and heatsink/cooling do you use?

1)gigabyte GA-K8VT800M (because it was cheap), NO LOCK!
2)Unable to overclock, no matter what I try it will not overclock, I assume it is the fault of the bios. I do move the FSB but it does nothing.

5) nvidia fx5900, thermelright k8 quiet kool (forgot the exact name has slots on fan to work "better")

1) ASUS K8V, no lock
2) 2200, but never really tried hard for more
3) 2170 (217x10)
4) everything stock except 217/220 HTT on jumperfree menu
5) Radeon 9700pro, Kingston Hyperx PC3500 CAS2 (I think why my OC works and your doesn't, just a guess) and Thermaltake Silent boost K8 (probably the same as Eagle17, has the slots, quiet, cheap and cool)

1.) Albatron K8X800, no pci/agp lock.
2.) 2434 MHz.Pic1 pic2
3.) Best stability at defaults due to video card probs.
4.) Highest overclock meant 1.55V @ CPU, 2.7V @ Memory, 2.8V @ NB&SB, 1.3 LDT; Memory timing 3 for CAS-to-RAS delay improved stability a lot!
5.) Video Card: 9600 Pro (this card needs a lot of power, and more than the slot gives by default) very picky as far as overclocks.
Memory PC3500 Mushkin Level 2 Black, and Default heatsink.

I have heard of some good overclocks on both those boards. But they might require soldering...

1) MSI K8T800 Neo-FIS2R, no AGP/PCI lock
2) 220x11=2200mhz (never tried higher)
3) 220x11=2200mhz. Rock solid stable. Ran Prime95 Large-FFTs Torture Test at priority 10 for 48+ hours. Absolutely no problems with any games I throw at it, and never crashes. Running 24x7 at this speed at 38degrees idle/47-48degrees full load.
4) Bios Update to 1.1. With 1.0, never got above 205x10 without stability problems. Added a 40mm YS Tech fan on the Northbridge Heatsink(which doesn't really do anything, but looks cool).
5) Video Card: ATI Radeon AIW 9700pro (overclocked to 375/345)
Memory: Buffalo PC3200 2x256 with Winbond CH-5 running 1:1 220mhz with 2.6v at 2.5-3-3-11
Heatsink/cooling: Thermaltake Venus 7+ with Ceramique. About as good as the Stock HSF, which I think is pretty damn good. I get 38-40 degrees idle, and 47-48degrees on full load.

The best OC'ing A64 board at the moment is the Shuttle AN50R, there are plenty of threads about it on Xtremesystems.org forums. Enjoy.
