A7N8X 1002 BIOS available - FSB to 250Mhz, Unlock TbredB

Flashed the 1001.C bios to 1002, but still shows "Bios Rev 1017 Beta 005 TO" w/ WCPUID3.1A & Sandra 2003. Flashed bios w/ all the 1002 versions posted here and other sites, but still the same results. No access to the FSB adjustments. Can only use 100, 133 and 166 FSB, nothing in between.

I would like to use 12.5 Mult X 144 FSB with my 1800+ TBred "A" AUIGA.

Had no problem getting 1.8GHz w/ a Gigabyte GA-&VAXP v1.1 motherboard. Any advise/help would be appreciated.

Are you using the 1002_001 linked at the top? Don't use the Finals, its busted. The Uber 1002.003 are supposedly as good or better, but I wasn't too impressed with them.

Yes, the 1002.zip (375 kb)/1002.bin (512 kB) file from Germany site.


I downloaded several 1002 versions, all supposedly the final.

I keep seeing "Bios Rev 1017 Beta 005 TO" w/ WCPUID3.1A & Sandra 2003. Running at defaults and reset the CMOS/Battery.
Original was 1001.C bios. BTW, this was a refurb MB from Newegg @ $109.98. Had to Download the manual and NF2 v116 drivers.

Eventually, I'd like to purchase a 2100+ TBred "B" from Newegg and OC to 2.4 GHz if possible.

Can go to 1743 MHz (10.5X166), but pushing for 1800 MHz (144x12.5; 2200+ speed) w/c I got w/ a Gigabyte GA-7VAXP v1.1, retail Heatsink.

Are you saying the refurbished A7N8X Deluxe you got from Newegg.com is board ver 1.1 ? That is wierd, all the retail new A7N8X Deluxe I saw are ver 1.4. I wondered where Newegg got these?

That's what I got for $109.98. Had to call Asus for the backplate w/c I got after 5 days. Finally downloaded the 1002 bios from Asus website.
Getting up to 1913 MHz (167x11.5) with a 1800+ TBred "A" AUIGA - 1.75 VCore Trying for 2 GHz.
