Getting a pretty basic configuration:
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, 1xGeForce 6600GT etc
Been more then 3 years since I last upgraded, seems like things are alot more complicated now
Whats the best order in terms of installing software/drivers to get a new A8N-SLI Deluxe setup up and going? is it?:
Install:
1.Windows XP
2.Windows XP Service Pack 2
3.nForce4 6.39 Chipset Drivers
4.Lastest WHQL Nvidia Graphic Drivers
5.Marvell LAN Drivers
?
Do I need to install everying in the nForce4 chipset driver pack? e.g. is the Realtek Audio Driver better then the Nvidia Audio driver 4.60 (WHQL)?
Or do we have to install both?
Been hearing problems on this forum about the Nvidia Lan port and NV Firewall etc, so should I disabled that and use the other Marvel one? (got an external firewall anyway)
I assume Nvidia ActiveArmour is disabled by default on the NVidia Lan port?
