Hmm will wait to see what the changes are, since my PC works fine and stable so far.
Edit: Found this on the ASUS site, by the "BIOS History" link:

1. Fixed System MAC/UUID will sometimes lose when AC Power lost
2. Add AI tuner Option under AI Booster to set Auto or Standard
3. Support changing SATA/RAID mode individually in the Bios
4. Add new memory frequency of 216,233 or 250 MHz no matter memory SPD is(E series support only)
5. Hidden ECC DRAM Support option when DRAM Doesn't support ECC function
6. change OnBoard GLAN1 option "Auto" to "Enable"
7. Adjust PowerManagement Default/power on option
8. Show PowerManagement option at APM option

No It didnt The german site got it first then Instantly TW or vica versa then US.

I guess they posted today the 903 as official and I assume the 1009 is Official or BETA not sure, BUT I am almost sure it isnt BETA cuz I use 1009 as of now and it doesnt say it is.

Its also 3 weeks newer then 903 !

1009 dated 12/16 i think.

I'm having trouble updating my bios.

I've used Nero to make a boot cd. So far, all I came across was 3 coasters. It reads the disc, and it seems to load. After it says "complete", I check to see... and I'm still on the same bios.

Can the bios only be updated via floppy?

You can also use Asus Update program. You can find it in the downloads section of www.asus.com

I used AFUDOS from a floppy after using a boot disk as well.

I am using 1009 and it works fine for me.

My only bugaboo is very high cpu temps

Idle 55C and Load 59C. It is 3d stable though.

Same chip on my MSI board idled 42 and 54 load.

I will pull the HSF off and redo the paste tomorrow.

Using a Swiftech MCV64X.

i get BSODs and references to "motherboard is not APIC compliant"....going back to 903....
