Did they change the page?

After "order dogtags" is selected, it come up with:

Your login failed. Please try again.
back to login
If you have not registered yet
please register

then clicking on register brings up the form,

New User Registration
FREE DOG TAGS - PLEASE INPUT YOUR INFO.
(No Credit Card info. needed, no need to Confirm Order - just submit)

After entering the info for the form, it had a button called ADMIN-

Never got to the screen for ordering the dogtags, unless I already register and log in first. But then it looks like you'd be placing an order for the tags and paying for them, since now you're not newly registering-

What am I missing?

Cool deal... but that site is a little messed up. The login/checkout process needs some work!

Thanks, I still have my RA dog tags issued in Jun 47. Can't remember when I stopped wearing them in 47' They are hard on the teeth if put to proper use and worn properly!

um...reading the posts and going through myself...it seems that these will be blank...anyone else notice that almost all the other options say "printed" tags, and one says blank....me thinks that we're getting the blanks...unless someone can show me what I did wrong....

When our kid was just a toddler, we had a set made up at a local Army-Navy store with our name, address and phone # on it... and has her wear it when we were going to festivals or out hiking... JUST IN CASE she slipped away. She never did, but we felt better knowing that she had ID. When we went out of town, we would stick a piece of tape to the tag and use magic marker to write the hotel name, city and phone. Good security, and you can't beat the price of FREE.

You could also use these as backup luggage tags.

Answer to Wingerr: Dog tags were issued in pairs and worn around the neck. Casualties were shoved one dogtag in between the teeth (that is what the indented portion was made to assist) and the other collected and turned in for records.

Hmm- okay, makes sense .

Guess that's why Maverick threw both of Goose's into the sea; didn't need the ID feature...

Thanks for the info!
