Wouldn't you know it. I was zipping up 1.8GB worth of files that needed to be burned to a CD. It needs to be out with the next FexEx shipment so time is of the essence. I slowly saw the numbers creep up 10%, 20%, 60%, 90%. Guess what? At 97%, some woman comes running into my office. Say, "I need a cable like this." Looks down on the floor and picks up the power cable that gave juice to the system I was using to compress the files. My heart sank when I heard to fan spin down.
"Oooops, was it important?"
I think I'm going to lunch. A LOOOOOONG lunch.
EDIT: BTW, the system I am using is a Pentium 166.
