ABIT BP6 - Best cooling Heatsinks?

Can Anyone suggest a good Heatsink for the ABIT BP6? I am currently looking into using Golden Orb's for my BP6 (which have to be shaved to fit). Can anyone suggest a BETTER heatsink fan that will fit the BP6?.

Alpha PAL 6035's will work, you may have to tilt some capacitors just a touch.

globalwin fkp32 i think. the smaller of the global wins: 2 fit perfectly w/o mod.

How do you get the 6035s to work on a BP6??

I just got two that I specificaly got for my BP6 and they won't work because the retention arm on the zif socket is too tall.
Can anyone suggest the better solution.. Bend the arm, or cut away the alpha????
The cut away is going to be close because it falls right in line with the screw hole...

Or am I better off just getting HS that will work?

That is strange, I have them on my BP6 without any problems. If you say they don't fit, I believe you though. If I were in that situation, I guess I'd either return them and try some of the FOP-series, or maybe jack them up with a copper shim from millisec, but that is going to decrease the thermal performance a bit.

Filing a recess into the bottom of the sink to make room for the lever is probably the best way to fix it without spending any more money. Sorry if I've misguided you, hope this is some help...

You didn't misguide, I found this thread while looking for a way to make these fit
I just got done dremeling the little suckers and am booting up now.

Maybe these aren't the PAL 6035s.. they are older models without the copper... but he did say they were 6035s.

Seem to be working now Now I can try 605 on my 366s ...woohoo!
