The Abit bios is in some ways kinda immature and there have been reports on undervolting too, eg. Bios showing 1.325 Vcore while it says 1.28 with CPU-Z, so either the board undervolts and/or the bios needs to be fixed. Same problem occurs with DDR2 Voltage: Bios might show 1,8V while it is only 1,77V or MCH says 1,25V while beeing at 1,18V only.

So far we know that the board will do 333MHz FSB with stock cooler and Value Ram easily. optime* reported 350MHz , koegs* 360MHz but afaik W!ldGunM@n* still holds teh record with 374MHz OC. We will see from further testing and results what this board can do max. But still 350-370MHz would be great for a mATX.

I'm of the same opinion. Fingers crossed, but thinking 350MHz FSB is pretty mediocre - better than the previous 320MHz FSB overclock on mATX boards, but not in the league of the 400-500MHz ATX monsters. If this can hit 400+ and is cheap, then it is the board I've been waiting for (regardless of "Fatal1ty" name ).

I'm also wondering whats up with the IB-90 HD version ABIT showed us back in early December. Its the one with the heatpipe system on it. I figured it having that heatpipe and 965 chipset would mean its built for serious overclocking and cooling. It hasnt been seen or talked of since the first pic came out.


Edit: Last I looked they're having problems getting past 333fsb on the Fatal1ty mobo it seems. No PCIe lock neither.

Maybe they they scrapped it and moved on to a Bearlake version.

2. I think Abit just renamed the original IB-90HD to I90HD.
3. 333MHz FSB have been reported more than once now, but i also know of at least two users how have oced to stable 350MHz and one who did 360MHz with a E6600.

I just bought one yesterday, haven't had a chance to try it out yet but will let you know. Certainly looks like a lot of money has been spent on developing it and the packaging / manual creates a good impression. I have high hopes. I'm putting a lowly Celeron 331 in it to start with to see what I can squeeze out of an unbelievably cheap CPU but will then get a E4300 I should think.

Also will be looking at overclocking the onboard GPU, not many integrated GPUs that you can OC.

I've ordered one from SFFclub.com. UPS says it'll be here on the 14th but I'm waiting for the April 22nd price cuts to buy my processor.

Has anyone tried installing a 533mhz FSB processor on this board (ex: Celeron D 331)? Abit says they support only 800 and 1066mhz FSB CPUs but the BIOS can reportedly be set to 533. For $40 I might just get one and test it out. Would make for a very cheap HTPC.
