Wow, nice price. I believe this board was ranked up there with the Asus P4C800-E in its overclocking abilities and its overall speed. I hope this means the asus 875 boards come down in price as well
EDIT:
Hmmm, looks like the max II has had some issues (read the threads): http://www.abxzone.com/forums/showthread/t-53920.html
And you may not be able to use the prescotts on this mb. Looks like the max3 overcomes the problems the max2 had.
Teamspeak has static for me. Looking at the 40+ pages basically says it isn't fixed. Also I can't seem to get the onboard LAN to work - it pulls a DHCP IP and then I can't ping the gateway. Added a Linksys 10/100 and it works fine.
Mine is a refurb from NewEgg $79 so at least I can buy a sound card and be out less than a new board.
I've got a 2.8C running at 3.5 ie 250x14 @1.625v (CPUZ shows 1.57 to 1.6)
I had the audio problem, I fixed it by using the manufacturers drivers, not abit.
Seems that abit had drivers that were one version behind the manufacturers one.
Fixed the problem for me. Before that, audio was totaly unstable.
that link is a year old, And i've used the board for that long, And never had an audio issue?? nice heads up though. It was only a driver problem anyway if i remember.
