Abit IP35-E: Wake on Lan (WoL) help!

I have a Abit IP35-E and the onboard ethernet is connected to my Buffalo router running DD-WRT software. In the BIOS, I enabled the "Wake up by onboard LAN" option... I booted the PC into windows and then went into stand-by.
From my laptop, I accessed my DD-WRT router software and attempted to wake my PC, but nothing happened. I already tried using a Windows program called Fusion to wake it, but nothing happened.
Aside from enabling WoL from the BIOS, is there anything else I need to do?

Wake On LAN (WOL) is Not wake from sleep.

WOL entails switching On a computer that is totally Off.

Wake from sleep is usually an entry in the Network Card's Driver that would state allow the computer to wake up om Network traffic (or some thing similar).

It is Not a very countable feature depending on the Hardware/Software it soem times work some time Not.

In Vista and Win7 there is also ebtreis ib the Advanced Power Configuration.

I see some option in device manager for my network card wake on capabilities...it is currently on 'magic packet & pattern'...any ideas what that means or what it should be?
