Anyone with the abit kg7-raid motherboard using an athlon xp? The Abit website says it is compatible up to the 2100 model but I'm curious if anyone has used something faster or even the 2100.
I have the KG7 without raid, and am currently running an XP1800+ at 2273 MHz. This was done by cutting the L3-5 bit and using the multiplier cross reference at the link below. Only 17x seemed to work ok with 133 MHz FSB, so thats the speed im now using. On processors 2200+ and up L3-5 is already cut, so you have to use this multiplier cross reference if you dont want to connect it again. I suggest reading a bit on the subject at these sites:
