You're right Jhp612....ABit's return policy SUCKS the big one! My first experience with them was horrible...bought a KA7 waaay back when...it was extremely unstable. The mobo got good reviews on the net, so I was sure I just got a defective one. The power would sometime simply cut out while it was booting up (no, not a power supply problem, I used 2 different new Antec PS with it, and still unstable as hell), and it would crash all the time on simple tasks like IE. Long story short, I called them up and they said they charge a $25 s/h fee for an RMA (plus I have to pay to ship it there)! What kind of policy is that! If they're gonna have a return policy like that, they better state it right on the box! I told 'em "it isn't my fault you let a defective problem get thru your system." Then they go on to basically blame the problem on me and say that there's no way they can tell that it wasn't my fault. They're a huge corporation, $130 board (at the time) means nothing to them (since it probably only costs $10 to make anyways), but that's a lot for me. The greedy bastards still wanted to charge $25. Basically, never buy from Abit. I'm sure they can be great boards, but heaven help you if you need to return one. They lost thousands in business because of their mistake...this was back when I had a small computer building business, but never used a single one of their boards in another comp. Better off sticking with Asus.
