I just got my KR7A-RAID today. It replaced my EPoX 8KHA+. The only thing I changed was the motherboard..nothing else. It seems that I can only get my new board up to 144fsb before I start getting errors. My EPoX was rock solid at 150fsb. This is really disappointing. I've tried every BIOS setting and still can't get it stable. I realize that the 6mhz will have no effect on performance just benchmarks but why did I pay a premium for a motherboard that can't overclock well.

I guess I'll have to wait and get a EPoX 8KHA2 when it comes out.

Strange.......what type/brand of ram????? I've had mine a bit less than a week with an Alpha on top and it does 170 without breaking a sweat! Are you upping the Voltage as you go too???? Something sounds odd..... Everyone I've talked to with this board has done nothing but brag about the O/C'ing ability.............Never know though......each is different and there are a LOT of variables.......

Mine just showed up today. I'm very curious to see what it will do with 2x256mb Crucial and 1ghz AXIA unlocked. It's my first venture with AMD..well at least since the K6-2 days

Back up everything and reformat. It really improves stability to start fresh when switching a motherboard.

Got mine today and hit 170 out of the box. Easiest o/cing MB I have had. You are asking for trouble without a fresh install...

Here's an update. The RAM I'm using is Crucial (which was also used in my other board). Right now I only have 1 stick in the KR7A-RAID. All my other hardware is exactly the same. I always do a complete fresh install everytime I install a motherboard so that shouldn't be the problem. I think I've also tried just about every different BIOS setting available still none get it stable above145fsb. I know all my other hardware can handle 150fsb since they all worked great on my Epox 8kha+.

I've also upgraded and downgraded BIOSes on the KR7A-Raid and still no luck. I think it's just some of these boards overclock well and some don't. I remember reading in a review at HardOCP that they couldn't get it stable over like 147fsb. Most people thought they weren't doing something right but I think they were right and just got a bad overclocker like me.
