The KT7 board is "VERY" popular. The SoftMenu III ability is loved by almost all people except for people that still think a 3.5" disk is a hard-drive cause of the covering.
The reason you see more complaints than compliments is because the american way is to bitch when it sucks and shut up when it works. Look at our society lately...the economy is good...nobody says anything...economy goes a little sour and they are looking for somebody to hang from the old old tree out back.
Also with the note board here, people tend to leap before they think. I have seen about 50 threads in the past month asking how to overclock an Athalon. HELLO!!!!!! There is a little thing called "seach" sitting in the menu bar. Take 30 seconds to do a seach instead of 5 minutes writing a thread. People also cry "foul" when the first little thing goes wrong. Alot of people don't run their system on defaults. They tweek and wonder why it don't work right. Alot of people also don't have the proper patches or firmware upgrades. They don't have a lot of things. The biggest is common sense.
The unoffical KT7 faq should be your first line of defense and the one you hold strongest since it is such a vast resource of information. Use it, abuse it, and make the author feel glad he provided that service.
Okay, enough complaining.
