I've flashed the BIOS several times in the past, however after flashing to A9 lastnight the system will boot, complain about the checksum error so it restores system defaults then continues to load WinXP.
However, if I try to reboot WinXP hangs. If I reset the system then nothing happens. Blank screen, no disk I/O chatter, no boot.
Further, if I clear the CMOS again it will boot one time with defaults (after checksum message again). But, if I go into BIOS setup and change settings, like enabling USB or loading performance settings, then system will not boot. Clear CMOS again and it will boot once.
Is the BIOS toast? Is there hope? Thanks all!
