I just got a nf7-s board yesterday. i was having problems all night with it doing to siren beep (high/low/high/low) then i reseated everything and got it to boot up. i didn't hear a beep and nothing was on my monitor but it stayed on until i cut the power. i tried another vid card... no avail. then i tried both my vid cards in my parents system... they worked. so i'm thinking that my agp slot is fried. what do you guys think? anyone else have the same problem?

Sounds like that to me. If you have a PCI video card, you could use it to confirm that the AGP slot is the problem.

BTW, what AGP cards were you using?

Check your cooling... I think the siren-beep is a CPU overheat warning. I had a lot of problems with my NF7-S doing the siren thing and then not booting when i uppgraded my CPU recently. A new high-grade HSF and some tinkering solved my problem.
BTW... I had to struggle a lot to get the NF7-S back on the track again after the boot-problems. Try starting the computer with the INSERT key pressed. (don't release INSERT until you see the "press DEL key to enter BIOS..."). Repeat this several times if it doesn't start. If itstill don't work, try clearing the CMOS and repeat above.
Also make sure you disconnect all optional hardware to eliminate possible problems.

God Luck!

It is quite possible that is the problem. As a previous poster said, it would be a good idea for you to try a PCI video card if you can get ahold of one.

Also, try hooking up your CPU fan to a 4-pin connector coming straight from the PSU as opposed to one of the fan headers on the motherboard. I remember getting the same beepcode when I built my father's system. The problem was that the fan on the CPU heatsink was not spinning fast enough because it wasn't getting enough power from the onboard fan header on the motherboard. All was better once I used the 3 to 4-pin adapter and plugged it straight into the power supply.
