frogg: Have you considered a GFD? It may be that your particular set-up may just not be stable over 105-110FSB...this is not that unsusual. First, what are you using for cooling? If you got a GFD, you could overclock via changing the multiplier and messing with the FSB is not necessary. The other benifit is that your CPU will probably run cooler with the case off. The case just traps hot air inside and doesn't allow any airflow over the PCB itself. I just cracked the case on my 850 and put on a better heatsink/fan combo, and it has stabilized my system noticeably. Your core may be able to handle higher speeds, it may just not like high FSB speeds. With the GFD, you could find out. Good luck..
