Question About Building a PC

Hi.I just wanna know how to upgrade a PC and any suggestion would be appreciated. What i mean when saying upgrading i do not mean how to input the systems onto the motherboard, but rather which kind of systems should i replace the already existing ones with newer and better ones and mostly if those will be compatible. The system specs are those: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, GPU: 4096 MB ATI Radeon RX 550, RAM:8,00GB single channel unknown @ 1197MHz.

I also made a bit of research on my own and i ended up with those systems: CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 3700X(for an AM4 Socket), GPU:Radeon RX 5700XT and since i have a dual channel RAM i can input 1 more of the already existing one and as for power i already have a UPS of over 700W. What i want to know mostly is if those systems that i ended up with will be compatible alongside each other and of course the motherboard itself which is ASRock A320M_HDV as i did not find much info about this(so as to avoid problems that might cause like peculiar noises, electrical overload on a system and/or even temporary magnetic malfunction).

The motherboard will require a BIOS update (actually a series of BIOS updates in a specific order) to go from your existing CPU to being bootable with a Ryzen 7 3700X installed.

Depending upon how old the BIOS is in your existing machine (it should be at least P4.40 since you have a 2200G installed and running), you may have to do one or more "bridge BIOS" updates to get to the P5.90 version required for supporting the 3700X as detailed on this page.

Once you have the P5.90 BIOS installed, you then should install the 3700X and the board should boot with it. Once the system boots with the 3700X, you should then install the remaining BIOS upgrades to get the board up to the most recent version (which is P6.20).

It is important that you swap the processors at the P5.90 BIOS version as the motherboard may no longer boot with your 2200G installed once you go beyond this BIOS.

The other components will work (provided you can find the GPU in stock to buy). You didn't mention the PSU model (I assume you actually meant PSU and not UPS, which are different things) - if it is a decent name brand, 700 watts should be more than sufficient for the upgraded system. However, if it is a cheapo model, all bets are off because you can't trust some of them to output the claimed wattage.

I'd recommend a new motherboard for an 8 core CPU like the 3700X. The A320 motherboard doesn't even have any heatsinks on the VRMs which aren't that great to begin with. There are plenty of good B450 boards that would do the job.
