i was actually thinking about this a while ago... and i came to the conclusion that its easier for people with long legs. i, on the other hand an asian and have short legs, so its harder for me to do this...

I don't much bother to cross my legs except at the ankles which is how I'm sitting right now, but on those rare occasions when I do, I cross them however I feel like it. If you have normal human anatomy and aren't a closet homosexual, then it doesn't hurt and you don't care if it looks "gay."

IIRC it's to prevent us guys from staring at their panties when they are wearing a skirt. From there I'd guess that it just kind of becomes a habit.

I, like many cyclists, never feel totally comfortable with both feet on the floor (no idea why, though!). I am 6'3" and have long legs, so it is more comfortable crossing my legs "like a girl" than with my ankle on my thigh. Maybe it's just my bone structure, but I don't feel any discomfort in doing so, even though I have very strong legs (and no, I am not hung like a hamster!).

I only do when I have a hole in the crotch of my pants that I didn't notice when I put them on ....but I can't even cross them all the way like that - too much muscle mass in my thighs, so my answer is no.

I saw the leg cross thing somewhere and it had the way girls cross their legs as a european style and when you rest your ankle on your knee its the american style cross. I cross european style sometimes and sometimes american, but crossying my legs with either way cuts off circulation to the crossed leg after a while.

it should only hurt if you cross your legs if you have fat thighs or are totally unflexable. package size has nothing to do with ability to cross.

and in a seperate train of thought, JFK could crosssee.
