If I use my hand to my move them out of the way, it's still pretty uncomfortable for my legs. My upper legs are just too thick and my hips aren't flexible enough I guess. It's just not comfortable at all.

I cross my ankles often, and occasionally I rest my ankle on my knee. But cross my legs at the knee is uncomfortable for my men and my legs. Just doesn't work.

I dunno about looking gay...I've never really thought about it, nor would I care. But it's just not comfortable.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I dont, it depends on what's comfortable then and there. No I don't think its gay, unless you do it in a 'swanky' kind of way while resting your hands on your top knee, that's gay.

Yeah, it's a manner of sitting in a skirt so one can't sit right up their...yeah.

Newscientist.com has an article somewhere explaining why some people are inclined to cross their legs while sitting down - it's to unconciously relieve pressure placed on your abdominals. I sometimes cross my legs, but usually with my legs far apart (ankle resting near other leg's knee). It's fairly comfortable.

I think there is a difference between the way a man crosses his legs and a girls does. When I cross my legs, I rest my ankle on top of the opposite knee. Figure four style. Girls cross their legs tightly, so their thighs cross each other. I don't think there is anything feminine about the way I cross my legs, but I have seen guys that crossed their legs tight girl style that looked very feminine.

I happen to have the guts to do what I want, when I want. So if I want to cross my legs, I will. I don't know about you, but male parts are in front of their body and large ones can be moved forward - allowing legs to be crossed. Sure they hang down between the legs when standing, but unless you are a deformed freak, they don't have to stay there (or are your parts are too small and you don't have a tweezer to pull them forward to let your legs cross).

it isn't a nads size issue, it's a fatass midget issue. if you're short and fat, you're gonna have trouble crossing your legs at the knees. if you're in shape and taller, it's not gonna be a problem, like the the cyclist above and myself. trust me, nads have nothing to do with this. i can't even wear most tightywhities cause i can't fit inside them, and even i can cross at the knees. unless you're a model for penis-enlargment ads, there's another reason you can't cross.

that said, i don't usually do it because 1) most other guys take it as a sign that you must be a poof. 2) i heard somewhere it gives you varicose veins and so now i'm all paranoid.

Ok you idiots, I cross my legs both at the ankle and at the knee. When you are confined to a small area, say an office chair with arm rests, you have no choice but to cross at the knees unless you want to slouch and cross at the ankle. In fact, I am crossed at the knees right now as I type this and I don't feel feminine and am not gay and my wife and 4 kids will support that fact.

As someone else said, maybe some of you can't do it cause your too much of a lard ass and if your nads are getting crushed they're probably too small to move forward or to the side. Next time you're playing with yourself maybe you should stretch them a little, it might help.

Not gay, just very uncomfortable for me. Probably has to do with my preferrence of briefs. Also, if I do shift myself out of the way so that it's not uncomfortable for the guys, my kneecap digs into the back of my other knee and that's not comfortable either. As far as flexibility goes, I think I'm doing all right there too.

Almost always ankle on knee. But if I think about it, I can remember doing it completely crossed over before.

The only reason I can remember doing it is because I remember thinking "Damn, I probably look pretty gay with my legs crossed like this." I didn't care though because I was tired when doing it. So I think I cross my legs "woman-style" when I'm exhausted.

I hate to be stereotypical, but it does look INCREDIBLY gay when you cross your legs completely.

Personally, ankle to knee is the only way I cross my legs. I can't remember even trying the other way... it doesn't even look comfortable.
