As you can probably tell because I'm here all the time I have no real job. Only work I do is volunteer work with mentally ill/challenged kids. It isn't too bad, but it gets repetitive. I hear the retards say the same shit over and over every day. They tell me the same stories over and over again, day after day. I put up with it, I'm not mean enough to yell at mentally challenged people.
Watching them talk to each other is the worst part. Mostly gibberish, but somehow they understand each other. It's weird. They laugh all the time over nothing. They laugh at the stupidest shit. They are either hyper emotional exclaiming: "OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME!" at literally the stupidest stuff or they are almost catatonic, like they are medicated or half asleep or something. Some of the kids there aren't mentally challenged. They just have illnesses that make them unacceptable for regular society or something. Like sociopaths or schizophrenics or something. They will hold normal conversations sometimes, but you can tell there is something wrong with them. Really odd, deep obsessions about random stuff with no meaning. A lot of times when I'm talking to some of them they don't believe what I'm saying even though I know I have my facts right. It's like they have some sort of mental block preventing them from seeing reality the way I do. In some cases it's because they want to be right, so in their mind they think of you as being wrong even if you're not. I don't let it get to me because I understand that they don't see things clearly, they don't think clearly sometimes.
The cafeteria is the worst. Literally food everywhere. You don't want to be there when they serve spaghetti. Pizza seems to calm them down though. The place should be shut down. The owner is almost never around. He just has volunteers look after the place. Finally got tired of dealing with all the bullshit retards and terrible conditions. Closed my browser and got off the forums.
