Ok.. here is the deal.
Basically I got a new HDTV recently with a tuner built in...
In the room with the new HDTV there is NO verizon setbox... however.. it is where the coaxial & ethernet have been installed for internet/tv guide to the actiontek router they provide.
Anyway.. i purchased a coaxial cable splitter.. it goes into the router and the other is going to my TV.. All I can get are local HD channels.. I am wondering is the only to get the rest of the channels is to use a setbox they provide?
Could I just buy another setbox (not rented/purchased from Verizon) and get all the channels? Or does Verizon need to activate the specific setbox for it to work?
thanks.
