Digging those len flares. NEED MOAR
He played young, cocky Kurk, and I think he nailed it.
I don't see why so many people have a problem with the cast. Quinto was perfect for Spock, Cho was a perfect Sulu, Saldana was a perfect Uhura...
Ok, so the guy who payed bones kinda sucked. And they could have worked on Scotty a little more.
I thought the cast was very good, I just didn't love the story so much. I really liked the movie despite not buying into the time travelling Romulan mining operation so much, though.
I thought the guy that played McCoy would have been a better Scotty Pegg was more annoying than anything.
Yeah, I didn't like the story much either. It was a generic action flick with Star Trek worked into it. They could have used any characters and it would have been the same movie.

Are you serious?
I thought that guy nailed Bones. (Apart from the fact that D. Kelley was a spindly little guy compared to the reboot actor.)
That entire movie was an error, not just the casting. Every time I watch that movie it makes me want to through my tv through the window.
I find it interesting that Star Trek is almost as polarized as American politics. We saw the same thing when they tried to reboot the show with Enterprise.
That's because the blue shirts are always on the opposite side of the fence as the red shirts.

"Star fleet command has ordered us to rescue them....Captain."
lol
I hate how overly cocky he played that. I also hate how "informal" everyone is on the bridge, and why is a medical officer in charge of targeting?
