That?s a pretty ignorant statement.

Why? I think your ignorant if you trust some other guys programmable computer to be dealing
honestly(randomly).

B/c if you knew anything about online poker there are thousands of people making money playing online. Even some of us here in this forum that play.

That's the rumor. Thousands of them,....he says. LOL

What's so hard to believe? Do you know how many people play online? Do you know that some of these online poker sites are audited by the Big 3 accounting firms? Trust me when I say you have no idea how big and complex this industry is.

Are you a troll or something because you surely can't be serious. I don't care what the Big3 say or anyone else says. Only a fool would play online for real money.

Oh and incidentally i do play on Pokerstars but only in their play money Multi Table tourneys and their occasional promotional freerolls. I have made the Sunday round 2s 8 times in various disciplines. I use them for practice. That is the only value i can see from playing online poker.

Freerolls? You got to be kidding me. Yeah, that's good practice. Playing with people that have nothing to lose and can be play as loose and stupidly as they want b/c there's no risk.

Top 27 in freerolls get into pay tourneys.

Thats how i do it.

I never put money in, and make a few bucks having fun. Playing a lot of hands against a lot of different playstyles does help, especially in the pay tourneys.

Top 9 in my first 3 or 4 finals made

If you stick with a good strategy, you can do okay with freerolls. The problem with freerolls is that the payouts don't make them worth it imho. You have to admit playing in a cash tourney is whole different animal than a freeroll?

Absolutely, i wouldnt call the freerolls anything like a real tourney until youre in the top 500. Then youve usually weeded out all of the people playing like tards.

Even then though, in a real tourney a lot of people go into "hold" as soon they get into paying places, you dont see that in freeroll tourneys.

LMAO. Then why are you even posting in this thread since you are completely ignorant of the real money side of online poker? Gotta resort to name calling b/c you're called out for your ignorance. Go back to your play money.

poker is a game of incomplete information, anyone that has access to more information has an advantage compared to the others.

You can get cheated on not only in online poker, but also in live tables as well. You will just never know if the person next to you is sending signals of what cards he has to the person in front of you. But of course this is harder and more cumbersome to do than the cheat done in absolute poker.

I have played in many real money tournamentds including ten or more at the WSOP over the last 4 years and people play just as badly as they do in play money tourneys. Not everybody who plays poker for real money knows how to play poker. That is why some are winners and others are losers. End of story

So. I'll take my chances in a card room. You trust a computer you can't see.Good luck.,because you'll need it. In fact luck won't help you there. You better know somebody who is on the inside of the site.

So you think WSOP and WPT seats are given away by scam sites?

That would put all the inside people at your precious "real" tournaments.

As did Greg Raymer, the 2004 WSOP champion.

Once again words are cheap online. You are the one doing the insulting. What's to research? It all comes down in the end to "taking someones word that the deal is legitimate", whether that be Pokerstars word, or Party Pokers, or one of the BIG3 mentioned earlier. Either you trust their word or you don't. I don't and you do.Good for you.
