I understand these are unreleased games but I am curious as to what most of you are leaning towards with your free choice with GTX 970/ GTX 980 purchases.

Never heard of the crew. AC Unity ws never going to be as good as FC4 and particular is not with its bugs, so fc4 is best of those three.

AC is a disaster by many accounts. FC4 is what I used my code on. FC3 was a good game and became playable once it got patched quite a few times to fix the usual Ubisoft performance issues.

If I were buying the games, my answer would be neither, until a really cheap sale. But if they were free with a gpu purchase, FC4.

Assassin's Creed is just not my kind of game. I played FC3, and it was OK, but my computer crashed and lost the save, and I havent felt it was worth it to start over from the beginning, although at some point I probably will.

I thoroughly enjoyed FarCry 3. I played it far into its life span so I assume I played the fixed version. My favourite thing were the gliders.

If I had to choose one, it would probably be Far Cry 4; even though it mostly looks like a re-skin of Far Cry 3.

Assassin's Creed Unity is a technical disaster. The Crew is a mediocre, soulless Need for Speed wannabe with awful vehicle handling and a dumb gangsta storyline targeted toward 15-year-old urban kids.

I'll purchase The Witcher 3 at full price just because it's not doing this silly season pass thing.

I voted far cry even though I used my voucher on unity. ^^ I wanted to get the pre order dlc and figured I wanted atleast unity, and although I don't have my card yet to play it after the huge launch fiasco I now wish I went with far cry. Course my biggest expectations are from the likes of dragons age (and witcher 3, when ever that happens).

Honestly if FarCry 4 is at least as good as FarCry 3 it should be a solid game.
If they can improve on it, then I believe we are in for some good times playing it.

I posted some 1440p screenshots here..

This game is a legitimate next gen game in every respect. It blows Far Cry 4 out of the water in visuals, and despite what the naysayers are saying (most of them don't even have the game), the game is well optimized for a recently launched title.

Also the combat is amazing. The sword fights are now much more difficult than previous AC games, and they are all dynamic with only finishing moves being scripted.

To do this properly required thousands of animations!

I'm just burnt out on the series. It has been utterly milked to death.

Eight "main series" games since 2007, and over half a dozen more spin-offs.

If Far Cry was on game 8 in a seven year span, I'd feel the same way.

That's perfectly understandable. This is my third AC game. I played the first one, skipped AC2, AC3, bought AC IV, and now I have AC Unity..

AC Unity tops all the previous games by a country mile. The combat in particular is just amazing. I haven't even been progressing a long the story because I keep going around picking fights with thugs..

It's really hard to do a proper dynamic sword fighting system. You need a lot of animations. Thousands of them, and AC Unity has those animations for various weapons... The weapons also have a weighty feel and swing to them.

The enemy A.I is also crafty and they can easily kill you if you're not careful.. If you square off against three, two guys will attack you (one of them will try to flank or go behind you) and the third will throw stun bombs at you.

Then they have these elite sword fighter thugs which have a different and more complex attack pattern than the rest. I got killed by them about 5 times before I figured out how to beat them

I believe however as an overall package FarCry 4 will beat AC Unity.
I could be wrong but that's what my gut is telling me.

hum ill have to check that out when I get home I got the MSI 970 Gaming

When I bought the game I was given a scratch off card for the code...
you then enter it on that website and pick your game.
I am waiting to make my choice, but heavily leaning towards FarCry 4.
