I recently bought and Asus P5Q Pro mother board, and my temperatures are at 30-40 degree's celsius. Using the PC Probe 2 software that came with my motherboard. It states the maximum threshold is at 45 degree's celsius for the motherboard.
My CPU chip is running at 20 degree's right now, and my MB is running at 30.
The southbridge heatsink is hot to the touch.
Is this something I should be worried about?
What is your motherboard temperatures running at?
I've heard people on acceptable forums simple say its fine. But never told me what they have their system running at.
It's all Stock by the way. Nothing is overclocked and its my first computer i've ever built. Im just worried, even though I think I did an awesome job.
I have the Asus P5Q Pro, with a e8500.
If you need to know any other information, let me know please
