My company is presently looking to install an access control system on 2 doors of the facility (small building/company). For those who are curious, the access control systems I'm referring to are the neat electronic door locks that unlock when presented with a key card, ID badge, or tag of some sort.
I'm trying to do as much research as possible into a system that will control 2 doors, have differing levels of card access (so certain cards can be restricted to certain days/hours i.e. normal work day), includes some sort of lock release in order to allow mail carriers entry into the building (i.e. some sort of button we push on the inside or control from PC software to open the door), and most of all easy to self-install w/o much outside tech help.
I'm currently looking at systems such as the Apollo EZ-One Pro, ISONAS security system, and a few others I don't quite recall at the moment. We would also prefer access to the system be wired rather than wireless.
Anyway, if anyone can suggest anything, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
