I have a problem with my home network. My laptop is unable to see my printer that is shared on my win98 machine. The laptop is joined to a domain but is using cached credentials since it cannot talk to the work domain controller when at my house
I can map shared drives, I use this script to do it:
map_drives.vbs
================================================
Dim WshNet
Dim WshShell
Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
Set WshNet = CreateObject("WScript.Network")
my_password = inputbox("Password for shared drives","Enter Password for Shared drives")
WshNet.MapNetworkDrive "R:", "\\home\shared1","False",,my_password
WshNet.MapNetworkDrive "S:", "\\home\shared2","False",,my_password
================================================
If I log locally onto the w2k laptop then I can print but If I am logged onto the domain I can't.
The win898 machine is in a workgroup.
Any ideas?
