I accidentally pressed the clear cmos button on the back of my desktop, and now when my computer boots up there's no signal from my monitor despite it working perfectly before, and I've figured out it's not a monitor issue. I've tried clearing the cmos/bios, restarting my computer several times, held down the power button and clear cmos button for 30 seconds (with and without inputs plugged in), tried taking out the cmos battery and waiting 30 minutes (+ unplugging graphics card and hardrives, as recommended online). Lastly, my bios flash button isn't lighting up, so I don't think I can properly boot my pc with an updated bios via usb stick (which I tried). This happened before once, and that time my monitor randomly started to work, but this time now nothing has fixed it. Should I just go to geeksquad or does anyone have any other ideas to fix it? I've never been unable to fix a troubleshooting issue like this before, I'm completely stumped. Would greatly appreciate any help, thank you.

If you have a CPU with iGPU try connecting the monitor to that, resetting the bios could have reverted the settings for what display to start up on.

Man, that sounds like a real headache! You’ve already tried a lot of the usual fixes, so here are a few more things you could try. Double-check all your connections—sometimes cables just get a bit loose, so make sure everything’s snug, especially around your GPU and monitor. If your motherboard has built-in graphics, try plugging your monitor into that instead of the GPU; it might help you get into the BIOS.Another thing is to reseat your RAM and any other removable components. It’s a simple fix but can sometimes work wonders. Also, unplug everything that’s not crucial to see if that helps narrow down the problem. If you have a different monitor or cable lying around, it might be worth testing those out too, just to rule out any issues there.
