In not really a metal guy, i like hard rock more, but my fav song of all time is November Rain, simply because of the chilling guitar solo. I close my eyes everytime i listen to it.. It rocks!

The only AC/DC song i know is Shook me all nite long. i love that tune.

I say both bands rock.

AC/DC is a classic band, up there with Zep, Stones, Sabbath, etc. GnR had one great album, but they're not in the same league.

Yeah they're not in the same league...GNR trump in every way possible. AC/DC has no songs that can even come close to November Rain, Sweet Child O' Mine, or Don't Cry. The song writing, instrumental arrangement, and the image of AC/DC don't even come close to Guns.
