I just got my Acer 2051w from Newegg and I'm definitely satisfied so far (no dead pixels, keeping fingers crossed). Color reproduction is outstanding and it is right on the money in terms of brightness and contrast for me. This won't really be a review because I'm not really qualified to review displays but I bought this one primarily because it was one of the cheapest 8-bit displays on the market. However, next to a few Ultrasharps (more expensive 20") in the office, an older NEC display, and a lot of the ones I looked at during my last Best Buy trip, this one takes the cake by a BIG STEP. It's not a subtle difference by any means, you can really see this panel's superiority despite the price.
If you're a casual gamer/graphic artist I think that this monitor is superb. I haven't played CS or FEAR in about half a year but I think I'll bust it out again just to see how this one performs.
Oh, this is my first widescreen. Now I know why everyone likes it so much!
