Acer 22" widescreen for $329 at Microcenter

Wow, that's an awesome price. Too bad I just bought an acer 24inch widescreen LCD a couple of months ago. I could have gotten 2 of these for that price and still had some cash left over.

Damn, this is tempting. I was considering a 37" Westinghouse 1080P screen :shocked: then a Dell 24", but this one is cheap and things will be big. Some may care about more pixels but for my eyes, bigger is better (nothing to do with female anatomy either ).

I went to Microcenter yesterday and checked out this monitor. It looks very nice. You will notice a change in the image when you move your head from one side of the screen to the other, but the effect is really not too bad, and should never come into play during normal use. Colors looked great. I woukld definately recommend it. I would have bought it if it was out when I bought my LCD.

I never had problem to get my money back within 30 days.

But that trick usually does not work - they started serial number scan many years ago. It may not be on your reciept, but they have it in as electronic record attached to the receipt.

I had no problem getting back $32 and some change due to the price drop. I like Microcenter, they're usually pretty fair about things like that, that's why I keep going back there for stuff instead of CompHell and WorstBuy.

I have to say that Microcenter's site checkout is sorta retarded. I could not get my order to go through, kept saying billing address mismatch. Called their toll free number and was told that I have to spell out my street name (FIFTYSIXTH instead of 56TH) and to put my unit number on the second line. That fixed the issue and my order went through. Bizzarre.

I just got back from micro center.I showed them my receipt and the refunded me 31.50 cash.(I paid cash).They have a 30 day price protection.They said if the price drops again in 30 days(from purchase) come back for more refund.

Crap! I got one of these for openbox last week for 280 but it had a dead pixel. I was happy at that price considering it was 330. Now for 20 bucks and a new one it's a no brainer. Back to microoenter the lcd's goes!
