For those who didn't get one this past Sunday in bestbuy, they are available on bestbuy.com for the same price. The price isn't a special so I am unsure if this qualify as a hot deal or not, but in comparison what you get for this price is a steal.

I hope Newegg stocks this soon, no tax and cashback would be enough for me to pick one up. They've dropped the price on the AOA110 to $329.99, so I'd expect them to have the AOA150 at MSRP if they ever get any.

JR.com used to carry the AOA150 but they haven't restocked in weeks. And their AOA110 is still priced at $374 (and OOS). If they get in line with the price drops and restock the AOA150 12% cashback would make for a very good deal.

I've heard people say they were able to just cancel the broadband offer thing and still get the discount, but all services have a clause of "High Speed Internet service activation required for savings. Items must be purchased on same receipt".

I'd hate to be the guy that finds out it's YMMV and some people have just been getting lucky.

I did it last spring with a desktop in store...We don't have a landline at my house so I signed up for DSL You had to input a phone number..I just used my cell phone. I was really suprised it went through.

When I called to cancel they couldn't even find any record of me, and I got a free DSL modem out of the deal right in store (it's not like I could have turned it down).

I bought it as an accessory to my traditional sized laptops and desktop and love it. It comes practically everywhere with me at this point.

Now I just need to find a better case for it besides the cheap ass sleeve that came with it, which appears to be more to protected against smudges and scratches than any banging around in a bag with books.

I got it on sunday and it has been great.

So far, removed office and antivir and dvd program (but it doesnt come with dvd drive LOL) .

its very well made and perfect for 2 thing i plan to do with it.

1) entertain me on my long train commutes
2) emulation machine. now I just need a USB joypad that looks like original NES or SNES!!!

can someone give more details on how this works?
whey you sign up, do they ask for a credit card and charge you?
then when you call to cancel, you get back your credit?
or do they just ask for a phone number?

People at this forum, have installed ubuntu with no problems, most people actual did a dual boot with XP & Ubuntu. I have not tried it myself, also they install ubuntu from a usb flash drive.

I just grabbed one of these from JR.com. Use Live cashback to get 15% off (up from 12% a few days ago). Shipping was a little under $9 for me, I plan on calling their customer service and getting a pricematch with Best Buy.

You can find their PM policy here, shouldn't be a problem. Total after cashback and PM should be about $303.

I've been watching the prices on the aspire one for the past week and jr.com didn't restock the aoa150-1570 model until after bestbuy.com sold out of theirs. Since their pricematch policy is only valid for instock merchandise you may have a difficult time getting a rep to match it, but if you can it's a good deal.
It's still a very decent deal without the pm considering tax at BB made it pretty much the same price as jr's with shipping figured in (at least for me) and the live cash back makes it even better if you don't mind waiting for it.
