Bought this a couple weeks ago but returned it. 8 minute burn in and a bent stand. Any amount of burn in on a monitor is totally bogus IMO
After several months it seems like there's less burn in, but it's still there. 4K videos do look pretty great on it though.
You guys sure it's not just image retention (vs complete burn-in)?
From my research it seems all current 40"/43" computer monitors suffer from varying degrees of image retention. They're all comparatively cheap, but
a) they use PWM for the backlighting
b) most if not all of them have a BGR subpixel layout; not so much an issue with Windows and ClearType, more of an issue on OSX
c) the aforementioned image retention issues
I can't or am not willing to deal with those, so I just went with a 32" UHD for this round. Hopefully the new Philips coming out will resolve these issues
