Pretty decent review, but doesn't talk much about 120hz...

What Anton does is really concentrate on 3d stereo -- and a lot of it is cross-talk investigations. The best one so far has been the Planar monitor with reducing Cross-talk.

I'm pretty sure he meant 240 or 480hz tv whatever they call the 120hz TV's nowadays. Why not use a true 120hz tv as a monitor? Has anyone tried?I use a 60hz LCD tv as my pc monitor and have thought of going to a true 120hz tv and wonder if it's worth it.

most of these guys can now double as whats known as "large format displays."
They should have a DVI port in the rear to connect.

You would need to do the shopping.

But 24's are pricey as hell, you expect a 27 to be near the same price?

last thing I read on this said $700

my God that is high for a 27" monitor

and I didn't see any mention of the (I can not remember the exact name) where you lock out the circuitry to have 0ms input lag.

I just need a 27in with no input lag for gaming and great text for browsing. OH YEA and less than $350

The reality is - I believe - that there is currently no flatscreen (eg, LCD or plasma) HDTV that will accept 120hz imput. I kind of feel like you are encouraging people to waste their time searching for one by saying "You would need to do the shopping".

Forgive me if that sounds confrontational, I just want to prevent someone from spending the same dozens of fruitless hours I spent searching and come up with nothing but vague "I'm sure it exists if you just would look for it" posts. Which just encouraged me to keep looking...

Again, please forgive me if I misinterpreted the intention of your post, i just want to make sure we are *really* clear about what is theoretically possible, as opposed to what actually exists on the market to purchase.
