Question Acer K242HYLH

Hello,
I have a new monitor, namely Acer K242HYLH, and this monitor only has VGA and HDMI ports.
However I want to connect this monitor to a computer which has only 3 DisplayPort video connectors and I can use either the HDMI-HDMI cable which came with the monitor and an adapter HDMI-DisplayPort or a cable DisplayPort to HDMI.
Considering the image quality, which is best to use, a simple cable DisplayPort to HDMI or a cable HDMI-HDMI with an adapter for DisplayPort?
Visually I don't see any difference in image quality but I was wondering if there are any advantages of using one over another.

If properly designed, both should provide identical, 100% accurate image transmission/quality. The quality of the cable that either uses, could determine the max length of cable that will work, but if you aren't getting cutouts then it seems both are good enough for the length they are.

The advantage would go to whichever one is cheaper but since you already have them both, I'd use the "cable Displaport to HDMI" because that leaves you the two separate pieces of cable and adapter box, more versatile to use for other things, like for example if you ever needed just the HDMI cable for something else, unless they are different lengths, then I might use the shorter one for now, leaving the longer in case you never need a longer cable for something else.
