btw, I have a lenovo yoga, battery is roughly about 4-5 hours. yoga has an i5 in it..

finbarqs I've been seriously looking at the Yoga. How are you liking it?

How well does it work as a productivity laptop/device. Nothing too graphically/desktop intensive. All can be handled by the power.

How about the touchscreen and tablet mode. Do you find yourself using the touchscreen very often? Does it enhance the performance and usability?

You mentioned 4-5 hours. Is that general or watching videos as well?

I am hoping for good battery life on these and hopefully converge my work laptop and home tablet into one device. Surface RT doesnt cut it. Surface PRO might but would need a dock (not sure if there would be one since i need to attach 1 usb (keyboard/mouse), 1 hdmi (monitor) and ethernet (for corp network)).

If only the Surface Pro had Thunderbolt, then you'd be able to use a single cable and connect to a breakout box with a bevy of ports.

that might be a good solution. Has LAN slot and USB for KB/Mouse. Surface Pro comes with HDMI so could use that for monitor.

Too bad its not USB 3.0. Would 2.0 cause performance issues?
