ACK! I keep getting all these Cyclical data errors on my HD

Hey All,

I keep getting cyclical data errors on the HD for my primary rig. I was hoping after a disk scan it would solve the problem, but no go. Any suggestions? Do I need to reformat or should I send this Western Digital back. It's still under warrenty.

Back up your data and send it back. Your drive is dying.

(don't forget to wipe the drive first...)

Put it in a freezer until you have access to another drive to backup your data if they are important to you.

1) Go to WD's website, the info is there.

2) Full (not quick) format would work, unless you have some data that you are afraid of the teeniest odds of somebody purposely scraping the drive for
