I know Acronis True Image creates a compressed image file that enables you to back up the entire system.
I know it can clone drives too.
Can you use clone as a backup? Here's what I want to use it for. I'll use it to image the system drive. But I also have a bunch of MP3s that I want two copies of. One on my home computer. One on an external that I bring to work. I want to keep the music directories identical so that, if I rip a CD, it'll be on both hard drives. Will Acronis do that?
Also, my external hard drive came with the express version of Retrospect, that I never bothered to install. Is Retrospect good enough or should I get True Image?
