Action movies this summer are sucking

So far I have seen League of Extraordinary Gentleman and T3. League was actually pretty fun though overrated and predictable. T3 was a huge disappointment, and the ending was a corny lead in for yet another sequel. Not to mention the gaping plot holes, weak one-liner humor, and tepid acting performances by Daines and whoever the young guy was. I hear Bad Boys II is also disappointing because of senseless action and weak plot. I was expecting more this summer, but I guess I will have to wait for LOTR in December for a quality "guy" movie.

Go see the Italian Job. Bad Boys II was entertaining, if a bit senseless violent.

Bad Boys II entertained me well for 2hr20mins.... was worth it....
T3 - well it was ok... I guess I expected more... oh well...
havn't seen LXG... heard it was lame...

I really like T3 and BB2, i went in with LOW expectations so i was surprised.

Oh I also saw Xmen and Matrix Reloaded. I thought both were ok but I had too high expectations I guess. I am looking forward more to the last Matrix movie, which should be more like the original. Xmen's plot also had weak spots like T3 where I just didn't believe a specific character would act a certain way, based on what I knew of the comic books. POTC looks promising though, I will have to check it out next week. Maybe the standard action fare just doesn't do it for me anymore

I saw Xmen 2 and thought it was good. Much better than the first one and opened up the possibility for an interesting sequel. Matrix Reloaded was okay. My head was spinning after it was over and I hated that I had to go online to find out what happened. The Italian Job turned out to be quite good and I'm certain that I'll get the DVD when it comes out. Overall, Italian Job takes the cake. SWAT is supposed to come out in August. It'll probably suck, but it's a Sony movie and I can get it my on Sony points when it comes out on DVD.

Watch 28 days later. Notsomuch horror, but I'd say it's a little mroe action-y. Great flick!
