And yeah, Lucy Liu never gets any roles either. Maybe she'd have better luck as Lucy Smith.

Do you know why you keep seeing the same stars? It has nothing to do with liberals and conservatives and everything to do with insurance.

Lets say you want to make a movie for 30 million. You can for the most part put people into it that you want. You will need to have some bigger names attached but they dont have to be ultra a list. Insurance on your 30 million will cost what it costs.

Now lets say you want to make a movie for 300 million. You cant get insurance on that film unless you have 1 of a few names attached to it OR the ip is so big you can use all fresh no names (star wars).

So take ghost in the shell for instance. What asian actress is a list enough to get the insurance companies to foot the bill if things go horribly wrong? There isnt one, unfortunately.

Like everything else in hollywood you have a chicken and egg conundrum.

An ethnic name will hold you back. Look up what a casting director does and think about how many submissions they get for an open call. Also know that the race, sex and age of a character is in the script that the casting director is staring at.

At least conservatives can go back to reading high fantasy novels like the bible for entertainment.

Actress Chloe Bennet just went off on Hollywood's racist attitude.

Ms Bennet's real name is Chloe Wang and she change her name because Wang is associated with Asians. And Hollywood just doesn't want Wangs. Due to racism she felt a name like Wang would not taken seriously. And here I thought the liberals in Hollywood just loved Wangs.
