Makes sense - make a luxo compact to compete against the Lexus compact hybrid twins & Buick Verano.

Just not sure what motor would work well - the no TQ Si motor would be pretty useless to the majority of buyers who want a luxo compact for commuting and mileage.

This may be successful if the pricing starts off just above the Civic Si ($25K or so...), but it would have to offer an amazing interior to be worth it.

or just get an ms3 or wrx

Only if you only care about performance, not about interior/build quality and brand. Unfortunately, most of consumers care about interior/build quality and brand more than they do about performance.

However, I find it irony that Acura back in 2007 decided to get rid of RSX because Acura wanted to step up its brand image, and RSX was holding it back with it being popular rice car. And now they want to bring CSX/JDM Civic, despite it having higher quality/finish than US Civic.

I really hoped they would just make TSX better (Get rid of current i4/V6 models, and put RDX's Turbo i4), rather than introducing lower-end model. But well, economy forces them to do so, I guess.

I still don't get what Honda is thinking. /nostalgia for old 90s boosted Honda F1 motors

they could have built on that so much and used the k23, but no

I just don't get it

Oh no you didn't! You just pissed off 90% of ATG by saying the WRX doesn't have a nice interior.

I love the concept of a new RSX sedan+turbo4+6MT+AWD...but I wouldn't buy if they continue to use fugly exterior and interior designs.

Honda is half the company it use to be.

What I never get is why the US always get the ugly trims and Europe and Asia have the nice trims, of any Japanese cars!
