Ad hoc network DHCP sharing?

Hey, Im in a hotel room right now and I have a wired internet conenction. I was wondering if there is a way to share that with my friend via our two wireless network cards..

Anyone have any info?

with ICS.. internet connection sharing in W2K and XP.. on your computer, bridge the two cards with teh network options.

Seems like an on topic networking question to me.

I tried briefly to just use peer-to-peer like that didn't work out.

There are actually two young ladies in here with me, but we are all co-workers and pretty professional.

not with windows laptops, you would have to turn your WNIC into a WAP, i heard there are ways to do it in linux, but i don't know if the tools exist in windows

it would be much easier/faster/cheaper to go to office depot and buy a 5 port switch and some cables

There is atleast 1 piece of software to turn a Windows machine into a WAP.
