Adding another rig

I have a spare stick of RAM (4GB DDR3 1600), 600 watt PSU, Case, 750 GB HDD. Been looking at some low cost options like the FX 8310 and looking over Ebay at some FX8120/8150 auctions along with some Intel combos. Should have something by the end of this year or beginning of the 2015. Don't currently have a decent GPU to stick in there other than an older X1950XT to get a display. :thumbsup:

Been looking into possibly getting a Core I7 4790k as my primary rig & moving the FX 8350 into spare case & adding a used 7950 into it. Since I have an ATI card already I may get an Nvidia though.

Still might just pick up a cheap low end AMD rig Thuban/BullDozer/FX8310/8320. Had the notion of adding a 2nd R9 290 but would be pushing the limits of my 750 watt PSU. I really wish I had opted for an 850!

Hey Brad, i'm looking to downsize my crunching farm real soon (as in just after the new year). specifically, i'd be selling off an intel i7 3770K, a Gigabyte Z77X-UD4H, and Gigabyte 7970, possibly two. i'd like to offer it up to any TA crunchers before i put it up for sale in the FS/FT forum, and it looks like you might be in need. let me know if you might be interested in any of this stuff...

Thanks, I've been pricing out a 4790k and MSI board. Still unsure if I want to spend a lot of money or not. Could go with cheaper older parts for a spare rig & throw a GPU in the mix too. Do you have a price in mind for the components? If so, send me a message.
