Just had infusion number 20. We had a scare when they found a 2cm growth next to my liver. Had to go have an abs and pelvic CT with contrast. Turns out the Radilogist just saw a piece of small bowel. No mets or changes in abs or pelvis since 4/15

Thats really an amazing drug.

It truly is! My tx team informed me that I was one of the first patients to begin receiving the drug after the FDA gave the green light.

This weekend has been good, I cleaned a bit and cooked dinner.

Had a chemo port put in yesterday, all I can say today is ouch!

I can relate. I still have a huge scar over my heart where they stitched me up when they took it out. It's pretty cool to look at, but the hair still isn't growing back there correctly yet. I assume it will take along long time.

If our ports are the same, its horrible when they take this thumb tack looking thing and press it into your body. It doesn't hurt too much, but the pressure of them doing it is one of those things like screeching fingernails on a chalkboard.. ugh.. I hated every time they did that.

Had round number 21 yesterday... So far fatigue seems to be this Treatment's side effect. My thyroid appears to be straightening out thanks to the Levothyroine & my blood glucose is back down to normal levels. Almost 11 months on the drug & very grateful to still be here

I just open my eyes & try to put one sneaker in front of the other most days. I binge watch Netflix just to have occasional escape from worry & cat videos on YouTube. Being able to laugh makes things easier.

It is said we often live from event to event. I am a mobile device addict & was thrilled to see Samsung's release of S7 & S7 Edge btw, the new Edge is brilliant IMHO. Now if I can just live to see iPhone 7!
