Yeah, I went back to v5. V6 sucks big time. Way too slow. It also would lock up my browser from time to time. Very irritating.

ATOT is the place to really reach the community, not necessarily hd, and its not your opinion that counts when it comes to the rules.
seriously tho, I upgraded to 6 and altho the startup time for the app is slower and it takes more memory and doesn't quit when you quit, its renders MUCH faster, especially for things like the 11mb electronic physics book etc.
Definitely upgrade if you havent imo.
I can verify the 2-sec claim.Install Adobe Reader 6
From the Start->Run windows menu, Open the "x:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader" folder, where x is the right drive letter.
Find the plug_ins folder and rename it plug_ins_disabled
Create a new folder named plug_ins
Copy the following files from "plug_ins_disabled" to "plug_ins": EWH32.api, printme.api, and search.api
Did you copy just those 3 files into the new folder? What about all the subfolders in the old plug_ins, did you copy them over too or leave them in the "disabled" folder?Originally posted by: ViperV990

Totally agree there!Originally posted by: sat4fun
cool splash screen though. Better to look at while it takes forever to load.
