adobe acrobat "uncontrolled copy"

hey,

trying to print off some pages from an acrobat document on a CD-Rom.

i get "UNCONTROLLED COPY" plastered like a watermark diagonally across the page, i have checked all program and printer options and cannot see why this is happening.

i have the latest version, and there are no watermark settings in printer options.

is this becuase the creator has toggled a setting that doesn't allow us, using reader to print off the content, if so, what can we do about this?

It is possible to set watermarks via Acrobat. Even if the settings are unlocked, Acrobat Reader could no turn off the watermark.

The 'uncontrolled copy' watermark is part of the .PDF file (and is nothing to do with acrobat).

Acrobat reader does not support disabling of watermarks during printing.
